Commercial Solar Inverter Sizing

Commercial solar inverter sizing for businesses in Lagos, Ondo and across Nigeria: 3-phase and hybrid system design, load audits and capacity estimates from your equipment list or electricity bill.

How it works

Homes can be estimated from an appliance list. Businesses need a load audit — here is our process for shops, offices, hotels, warehouses and factories across Lagos, Ondo and Nigeria.

0stages from audit to after-sales support

Step 1

1. Load audit

We list every machine, air conditioner, pump, light and socket load with its watts and operating hours — including motor starting surges, which decide the real inverter size.

Step 2

2. Supply and design

We confirm single-phase or 3-phase supply, then design the system: inverter kVA, battery kWh for your outage pattern, panel array, and hybrid or off-grid architecture.

Step 3

3. Written proposal

You receive a written proposal with exact naira pricing, equipment specifications and an installation schedule — before any commitment.

Step 4

4. Installation and support

Certified installation, system handover with training for your staff, and after-sales maintenance so the system keeps paying for itself.

0answered questions

How does G-Tech Consult size a commercial solar system?

In four steps: a load audit of your equipment (watts and running hours), confirmation of single-phase or 3-phase supply, system design (inverter kVA, battery kWh, panel array, hybrid or off-grid), and a written proposal with naira pricing. It starts with your equipment list or electricity bill sent on WhatsApp, followed by a free site assessment.

Our premises run on 3-phase supply. Can you handle it?

Yes. Commercial 3-phase design uses a 3-phase hybrid inverter (or three single-phase units) with your loads balanced across the phases, so no phase is overloaded. The site assessment maps your distribution board before anything is quoted.

Should our business go hybrid or fully off-grid?

Most Lagos and Ondo businesses choose hybrid: solar and battery carry the load while the grid or generator stands by for long cloudy stretches. Fully off-grid suits sites with no grid at all, but needs bigger batteries for cloudy-day autonomy and costs more upfront. Your outage pattern and budget decide.

Can we start small and expand the system later?

Yes, if it is designed for expansion from day one — spare inverter capacity, battery rack space and roof or ground space for more panels. Tell us your growth plans during the assessment and the design will allow for phased expansion without replacing the core system.

Do you handle commercial installations outside Ondo and Lagos?

Yes. Our office is in Ondo City and we regularly assess Lagos commercial sites. For other states, send your location, equipment list and electricity bill on WhatsApp — we confirm assessment availability, travel costs and scheduling before booking.

What maintenance does a commercial solar system need?

Panel cleaning (dust cuts output), periodic battery health checks, and inspection of connections and inverters. G-Tech Consult provides after-sales support and maintenance for the systems we install — ask about a maintenance plan during your assessment.

How do we get a commercial solar quotation?

Send three things on WhatsApp: your equipment list with watt ratings, your typical operating hours, and a recent electricity bill if you have one. We will respond with clarifying questions, book a free site assessment, and then issue a written proposal with exact naira pricing.

How long does a commercial installation take?

It depends on system size and site readiness — a small office system is days, a large 3-phase commercial install is weeks including design and procurement. Your proposal will include a clear schedule after the site assessment; we never start work without one.
